Jean Paul Gaultier Junior 1988 Black Felted Trachten Wool Corset Jacket & Skirt
The Jean Paul Gaultier Junior line was launched during Jean Paul Gaultier’s F/W 1988–1989 womenswear show, Boarding School.
I’m not entirely sure, but it appears that the skirt from this felted suit was used across several looks in the show, with the same distinctive skirt reappearing in different variations. You can see a small hint of this connection in the shorts worn in one of the looks pictured here, which feature part of the same skirt detail.
